DoRim intercepts a tomato bomb aimed at CEOChoi and he is mortified. Firing the mall girl put her family on the streets and her siblings in an orphanage.
RBitch takes DoRim to a rest area to clean up and scolds her for showing off. Turns out that DR’s best friend from back home, JinJoo, is working at the mall and recognizes her. RBitch scolds JJ for not recognizing the CEO’s fiancée.
DadChoi goes to visit his first wife’s father who tells him not to come anymore. The accident wasn’t anybody’s fault. Only the heavens know what’s is store for us. The night before the wedding she said something odd. She asked that if she died, her ashes be spread around the tree that she likes. But she disappeared?
Once DoRim is cleaned up the interview goes as scheduled. She answers the questions directed at her according to the briefing. All goes well until she is asked to play the piano.
DoRim doesn’t know how to play the piano but goes trembling to sit down on the bench. Then she asks for a glass of water and JJ gets the cue. She brings a glass of water on a tray, trips, and spills it. So DoRim doesn’t have to play.
After the interview, DoRim finds JJ and thanks her. But why is she the CEO’s fiance? She is only a doppelganger or look-alike. JJ says it must be hard to act like a princess when you’re not. DoRim doesn’t even want to think about it.
Tomato girl is holding a one-woman protest outside the mall and DoRim stops to talk with her. The girl worked hard 3 years without missing a day to support her siblings. Their father abandoned them and the mother died so she is the sole support of her younger siblings. She only smoked one time, a cigarette left in the bathroom by a customer and got fired for it.
CEO tries to correct DoRIm but she is already angry and calls him a “two-faced, materialistic, self-absorbed jerk.” His initial reaction to the tomato bomb was to get mad. But what would a heartless man like him know? What’s the use of wearing high-end brands if he is not a high-end person? She walks away in a huff and he can’t sleep that night because of her rebuke.
Madam Choi hears the help gossipping about her husband and tries to get information about his “Don’t ask, Don’t tell” excursions. She asks her husband to not go alone but he says he won’t be going anymore. He still has nightmares about his first wife who disappeared after a hit-and-run accident. For awhile he blamed his current wife because she was the one who most benefited from the accident. But now he doesn’t blame anyone. (At this point, the moms seem more sinister than the ghost. They are admittedly planning on sacrificing someone.)
When DoRim gets home, oppa is waiting. He came home early because he hurt his hand and is touched by her concern. She prepares a quick meal and they discuss the progress of finding the runaway fiancée. She says nothing is wrong but she would like to end this ridiculous charade without incident.
DoRim takes care of oppa like a real sibling and he is obviously touched. And DR puts on her regular clothes to go searching for the lodge money thief.
On the way back DoRim wins a flat-screen TV for her grandma in a cake eating contest. CEO and Madam get out of the car to observe and DoRim covers her face with frosting, hoping they won’t recognize her. But they do.
CEO confronts her and DoRim attributes her behavior to pre-wedding jitters. She promises to not do it again. Then RBitch comes and snatches him away but not before she gets in a few jabs at DoRim.
On the way to the mall, CEO and RivalBitch compare what they know about his fiancée. She doesn’t like sweets but she won a cake eating contest. She is allergic to cats but she adopted one. Do all women get that stressed out before their wedding? RB gets suspicious and interrogates JJ.
In spite of all that, Grandma is thrilled with the new TV. The screen is big, the color is bright, and everything is crisp and clear. DoRim tells her to enjoy it. But their happiness is short lived.
RBitch uploaded the cake eating video and both moms are outraged and CEO tells RBitch to look for another job. DoRim’s regular clothes are thrown out an she is ordered to get rid of the cat. Luckily she has a friend, JJ who is willing to keep the kitten until the act is over.
JJ wants to know what it’s like to be with someone like the CEO. DoRim was impressed at first but what’s the point of having looks and money if that all you have? CEO is rude and heartless. JJ tells her that CEO got tomato girl a good job with benefits. The company provides a place for her family to stay.
Tonight is Monster’s showcase and KangIn sent them an invitation. Oppa takes her and buy her sugar pancakes. She never had the time or money for these kind of things before so everything is new and exciting.
CEO calls and finds out that DoRim is at his brother’s showcase. He can’t help but notice how happy and carefree she seems with her supposed half brother. But when she sees CEO her whole demeanor changes. He wants to talk to her about the cake contest but oppa tells him she felt bad about it all day. So he brought her here to try and cheer her up.
DoRim apologizes for the harsh words she said before since he helped tomato girl. He only did it to keep her from going to the press. In front of the auditorium the Monster fans that DoRim met on the beach recognize her. But when she says she isn’t they accept it because she looks so much like the fiancée.
When the doors open, Ghost plays another trick. She trips DoRim and CEO goes to the rescue. He can’t get it out of his head the she is doing all these things to get his attention. He starts to kiss her again and she head-butts him.
KangIn is honored to have a family member at one of his concerts for the first time. CEO finally gets a kiss when his brother announces his engagement from the stage and the crowd chants “Kiss her, kiss her…” He tells her that he took care of the cake eating video but not to do anything like that again.
MadamMa apologizes for her outburst and asks what DoRim would do if they didn’t find the fiancée in time for the marriage? Think about it. The she says she is going to the work site and YiHyun can stay home. Tomorrow is his birthday.
A large bouquet of flowers arrives for YiHyun from his real sister for his birthday. DoRim plans to make a celebration but is called to come to the Choi home. After dinner, she gets caught up in a game of baduk with DadChoi and he’s not above cheating. And winning a cake eating contest is better than being a picky eater. Madame tells DadChoi not to get too attached to DoRim because she believes that girl will die like his first wife did. Is part of the curse that the men don’t believe in it but the women do?
Cleaning up after lunch, the butler’s wife tells DoRim that CEO was kidnapped when he was 8 years old. The kidnapper was his tutor that he loved and respected. No one knows what happened that day or how he escaped and got home. Since that time he hasn’t let people get close to him. They all pretend it never happened and she has to pretend as well.
DoRim is shopping for a tie and CEO says it’s not his style. But it’s not for him. She is preparing a birthday party for oppa. She invites CEO but he’s busy. RBitch tries to get back into CEO’s good graces by overworking and passing out. He says if she doesn’t rest she will really be fired. DoRim goes to see RBitch in the hospital and finds her with KangIn. It’s obvious that he likes her.
Turns out that MadamMa has her daughter hidden away in a nearby apartment. The psychic told her that the curse was real. On top of that, the ghost has been terrorizing the financée. I don’t know exactly what everyone is plotting but there seems to be several conspiracies and plot holes. Is it people doing evil things and the ghost getting a bad rap? DramaFever
